HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAMA!

Guess what guys, I actually forgot that it was her birthday. She called me through phone and was the one who said that today was her birthday. I am such a good son. Haha.

Her birthday is celebrated on April 8 but her birth certificate says April 18. I guess the attending physician/nurse was tired and wrote an extra line on her birth date. This is why we celebrate her birthday twice sometimes. Well actually, the anniversary of our car services shop happens to be on the 18. Haha.

3.21.1992.

Damn, a lot of weight gained this year. But hell yeah, I’m still happy. I did not ask anything for my birthday (except maybe for cake). There’s a lot to be thankful for. I’m satisfied with what I have now.

My birthday is never complete without the birthday cake! Haha. Thank you guys!

Three of A Kind

This is the last part of my birthday spree. I treated my friends to the movies. We watched The Hunger Games (probably my 3rd time watching) obviously. Haha. It doesn’t get old. I don’t know but I really like the movie. Well of course I’ve read the books. A fan does not care about any criticism from other people. If you hate The Hunger Games, it’s your opinion. :))

This is part two of my birthday celebration. I would never forget my friends in UP Manila Biology. They’re the best friends you can have. I love birthdays because of one reason: CAKES!!! Cookies and Cream ice cream cake from DQ tastes like heaven. Haha. :)

I turned 20. I think this is the best birthday in my entire life. It beats all the children’s parties I had way before.

I hid my birth date in Facebook to see if people would actually remember my birthday. And yes, only a few people greeted me. And these few people are actually my REAL FRIENDS. Lol. I was disappointed because there was this one person who forgot to greet. I thought he would remember because he was really special to me.

So why is this the greatest birthday ever?

Well, the fact that we were the FIRST FEW PEOPLE to watch THE HUNGER GAMES in the whole country is just ridiculous! The great thing was we had the cinema to ourselves with less than 100 people inside. All credits go to Astroplus and Hunger Games Philippines.

I know this is a very late post but I still remember that day. The day I watched THG on my birthday. I know this may sound cocky but I think the cinema was reserved for my birthday. Haha. LOL.

The audience were Hunger Games fans like me of course. It feels so good when you watch a movie with people you can relate to. Everyone does the same thing: cry, scream, shout, gasp, and do the three-finger salute. That was really the best night ever.

I watched it with my fellow tributes: the tributes from the Philippines Hunger Games. And of course they were thoughtful enough to buy me a blueberry cheescake! CAKE! CAKE! CAKE! 

And I was really puking rainbows because I was so high with all the happiness. Haha.

Birthday Cake

It’s no one’s birthday but Lance and Charize brought us some cake from Los Banos. Damn. What is up with all these food? These past few days, we’ve been eating non-stop. I guess we’re just stressed out making our thesis. We’re almost there. Graduation. Hang in there.

Anyway, the it’s a chocolate cake filled with chocolate and strawberry filling topped with chewy strawberry jam and chocolate frosting that melts in your mouth. Pieces of thin chocolate are also added to finish the masterpiece. My favorite combination. Shit. I’m salivating now. Me want cake!
